Multiple character after tha last colon are supported.SimpleKey is a multi-purpose one page WordPress Theme. If you want to type just two or more characters to get a special characters use this form: :c?*:^e::ê or :c?*:^e. It is not as fast as defined keys but it is great for casual users. Rotas means I only need to remember one key to press. But at times I need to type type special characters. I use Simplekeys mainly for creating XSLT scripts with 'hot strings'. In theory they could all go together but this seems more managable.Īgain your files like unicode.ahk and simplekeys.ahk must be UTF-8 and have a BOM. I have 6 more spare places I could define other sets. Then my n lowercase variants followed by my N variants. I have chosen to put all my lower case vowels together with ā first as that is my highest use then à next as that is my next use variant. You can have as many sub-groups added to gether inside of one pair of double quotes. Between those two letters place each character variant starting with the most commonly used. A sub-group starts and ends with the same letter. The you need to define your rota sub-groups. They 100 and increment up by 50 until it works each key press. If the hot key does not change with out repeatedly pressing the hot key you may need to adjust the key SetKeyDelay, 50 to a higher value. Editors that know about UTF-8 and BOM are: Notepad++, Scite4Autohotkey and other Scite variants. Failure to do that will cause the scripts to not work as expected. If you are using Unicode characters you must encode both your script and the simplekeys.ahk in UTF-8 with a Byte Order Mark (BOM). Rotas provide a way of changing the last typed letter to the same base letter but with a diacritic or some other variation. Most of the AHK scripts supplied are fairly minimal, and are used as examples. Right clicking the icon produces this menu. Of course if you remove or add items then yours will look different. Left clicking the icon produces this menu. If it is not visible, open up the tray overflow and drag the icon into the system tray. Simplekeys places an icon in your system tray #include simplekeys.ahk This line is required at the start of a simplekeys script file. #SingleInstance force make sure ony one instance The folloing three lines should be after icon file variable Header revised to go with revisions of simplekeys.ahk Within the menulist.txt file you need to specify a pair of fields separated by a semicolon.
